    Hello, Friday! Link Roundup

This week went by so quickly. We stayed in New York, and I got to spend lots of time with my husband. I cooked a few big meals, we drank lots of wine, watched some movies, and hung out with friends. It was very relaxing.

Radio City Christmas Tree | Hello Little Home

Radio City Music Hall all lit up on Christmas Eve.

It was pretty quiet in the blogosphere this week, but I found some great links to share with you!

These Glitterbomb Cupcakes from Ross Sveback would be perfect for a NYE party.

I'm horrible at remembering birthdays and important dates, which is why I love this Perpetual Birthday Calendar from Tater Tots and Jello.

The Glitter Guide has 3 Holiday Hair Styles that would be perfect for New Year's Eve.

NYC Holiday Decorations | Hello Little Home

A word to the wise: Christmas Eve is not a good day to check out Christmas decorations in NYC's Midtown. Throngs of people were swarming the streets. I may have called it 'a nightmare' a few times!

I can't wait to try this recipe for Kale Caesar Salad from Honest Fare. Yum!

Need a little something to accentuate your party dress? Brit + Co. has a great roundup of 15 DIY Headbands and Hairpins to Make for New Year's Eve.

Christmas Cookies | Hello Little Home

Anne from Wit Wisdom and Food sent me a box of (delicious) homemade cookies and champagne jelly! My husband and I had already sampled a few by the time I took this pic:)

Open up your eyes  with this Big Eyes Makeup Tutorial from the Beauty Department.

I love anything with salted caramel, so this recipe for Sea Salt Caramels from Jones Design Company caught my eye right away.

Finally, Sugar and Cloth has solved the question of what cocktail to serve at your NYE party: a French 75 embellished with a DIY Gold Fringe Stir Stick.

Converted Church in Brooklyn | Hello Little Home

We visited our friends in Brooklyn the day after Christmas. They live in a converted church. It is such a cool space. Their part of the building has really cool arched stained-glass windows.

Do you have any exciting plans for New Years Eve?

P.S. Follow me on Pinterest to keep up with everything that catches my eye!

You are brave heading out on Christmas Eve. Are you avoiding New Years Eve or feel like you have to see the ball drop just once?

It was Joel's idea, and for some reason, he thought it would be quieter on Christmas Eve. It was pretty unpleasant, so I think we will be skipping New Year's Eve this year;)
