I love dressing up for Halloween, and I always have a few ideas in consideration throughout the year. This year, I’m inspired by TV shows and movies.

Happy Friday! This has been a busy week. My Mother-in-Law Pat and Aunt Joni have been visiting and just left yesterday morning.
I had awesome time taking in all the sights and hanging out with Pat and Joni, who couldn’t be more fun. They were the best guests, and we did everything from David Letterman to Shake Shack. Sadly, I had to miss Drag Queen Bingo … next time!
My favorite stop was Ellis Island. It reopened recently after being damaged during Hurricane Katrina, and it was my first visit. Some of the exhibits weren’t fully restored yet, and I didn’t have enough time to see everything anyway, so I’m already planning a return.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I also attended Dooney & Bourke’s Spring 2015 Preview. It was such a fun event! I’ve been a fan of Dooney & Bourke for as long as I can remember, and I loved checking out the upcoming collection, which is totally covet-worthy, and meeting their team, who couldn’t be nicer. I even got to design my own bag (#LuckyLady)! I’ll share more photos from the event after I receive my bag.

Happy Friday! I hope you are having a great week. We finally got some chilly weather here in New York, the leaves are changing colors, and it really feels like fall. I’m loving it!
Halloween is just around the corner, and it’s been on my mind lately. Are you ready?
I’ve seen so many creative ways to celebrate this creepiest of holidays. While you may not have time to throw an awesome Sharknado Party (a la Brooklyn Limestone … she has the best Halloween ideas!) or create a Haunted Mansion Graveyard Inspired Party, there is still time to do something fun and festive!
