Ingredients
For Oats:
  • 1 large orange
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not quick-cooking)
  • 1/4 cup milk*
  • 2 tsp dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • pinch salt
For Topping:
  • 2 tsp chopped pistachios

Instructions
Prepare Oats:
  1. Slice peel from orange. Over a bowl, use a knife to section the orange (see video for step by step tutorial). Save orange segments for topping the oats in the morning.
  2. Squeeze leftover orange pulp to extract juice. You will need 1/4 cup juice for this recipe.

  3. Combine oats, 1/4 cup orange juice, milk, cranberries, maple syrup, and salt in a jar.

  4. Mix well, cover, and refrigerate oats overnight.

Add Toppings:
  1. In the morning, remove oats from refrigerator and stir.

  2. Serve oats topped with reserved orange segments, cranberries, and pistachios. Enjoy!
