This Lemonade Shandy is perfect summer drink ... light, delicious, and refreshing!

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 lemons, plus additional for garnish
  • 6 (12-ounce) bottles or cans beer, chilled
Prepare lemonade:
  1. Combine sugar with 6 cups of hot water (from the faucet is fine) in a large pitcher. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Cut lemons in half and juice them. Add juice to the pitcher and stir well.
  3. Thinly slice the peel from one of the lemons, then add to lemonade.
Assemble shandies:
  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add enough lemonade to fill half the glass.
  3. Top glass off with beer.

  4. Garnish shandy with a slice of lemon, if desired. Enjoy!
