  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add brown sugar and cream. Stir until smooth.

  3. Simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix in salt and vanilla, then remove from heat.
