  • 12 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup dried cranberries


  • Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat.
  • Add butter to a mixing bowl, along with sugars, vanilla, and salt. Using a mixer, mix for a couple minutes or until smooth and shiny. Beat in egg.
  • Whisk together flour and baking powder, then add to butter mixture. Mix until completely combined.
  • Blend in chocolate, walnuts, and cranberries.
  • Roll heaping tablespoons of dough into balls and place on a greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  • Flatten cookie balls slightly, then refrigerate cookies for at least one hour.
  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Bake cookies for 15 minutes or until browned on the bottom and lightly colored on top.
  • Remove cookies from oven and cool on a rack.
  • Eat cookies right away or store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
