Servings: 12 to 16 slices
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- kosher salt
- 1 (16-ounce) loaf Italian or French bread
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix butter, Parmesan, and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Slice bread in half length-wise, then spread with butter mixture.
Place bread halves on a baking sheet. Bake until butter is melted and bread is crispy on edges, about 10 minutes.
Cut each bread half into 6 to 8 slices.
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
For a milder garlic flavor, replace the raw garlic with a head of roasted garlic.
If you'd like to save a few calories, you can cut the butter down to 6 tablespoons.
