Ingredients
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • kosher salt
  • pepper
  • 1 (16-ounce) loaf Italian or French bread
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. Mix butter, Parmesan, and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

  3. Slice bread in half length-wise, then spread with butter mixture.

  4. Place bread halves on a baking sheet. Bake until butter is melted and bread is crispy on edges, about 10 minutes.

  5. Cut each bread half into 6 to 8 slices.

  6. Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

For a milder garlic flavor, replace the raw garlic with a head of roasted garlic.

If you'd like to save a few calories, you can cut the butter down to 6 tablespoons.
