Instructions
Combine chocolate, 1 cup heavy cream, and vanilla extract in a small, heavy bottomed sauce pan.
Heat mixture over low heat, stirring constantly. Do not boil or overheat.
When chocolate is almost completely melted, remove from heat. Continue stirring until fondue is smooth. (If thicker than desired, stir in additional heavy cream.)
Serve fondue hot with your choice of dippers. Enjoy!
Notes
To keep this recipe quick and easy, I recommend using an 11.5 ounce (326 gr) bag of high quality chocolate chips, such as Guittard Extra Dark Chocolate Chips (which is what I used) or Ghirardelli chocolate chips.
