Place berries in a medium bowl, then sprinkle with sugar. Mix well.
Cover strawberries, then refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Servings - This recipe makes about 2 cups, or 4 (½ cup servings). You can easily scale the recipe up (or down) depending on how many strawberries you have.Timing - You can let the strawberries rest for as little as 30 minutes, or for up to a couple hours, before eating.
