Ingredients

whole milk

tablespoons
unsweetened cocoa powder

sugar

cinnamon stick,
plus more for serving

teaspoon
vanilla

cayenne
whipped cream
ground cinnamon,
for sprinkling
Instructions
Place cocoa powder, sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla, and cayenne in a medium pot. Whisk until combined.
Cook over low heat, stirring often, until hot.
Serve hot, topped with whipped cream, a sprinkle of cinnamon, and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
Notes
For sweeter hot chocolate, add an additional tablespoon or two of sugar.
Cayenne can be eliminated or reduced, depending on your heat preference.
