Notes
Servings - This recipe makes 1 cup roasted pepita seeds, or 16 servings (1 tablespoon each).Scaling the Recipe - You can easily scale this recipe up (or down), depending on how many pepitas you have. Simply double (or triple) the ingredients, or cut them in half, as needed.Seasoning the Seeds - If you'd like to add spices, add them along with the salt and olive oil. My favorites are garlic powder and smoked paprika, but other spices also work great. Check out the info before this recipe card for ideas!Dry Roasted Pepitas - You can also dry roast the pepitas in a skillet, if you'd prefer. To dry roast, cook the pepitas in a frying pan over medium heat (without oil) until they're toasted and crisp. Stir the seeds frequently, and watch them closely so they don't burn. It should take about five to ten minutes. Air Fryer Pepitas - To make air fried pepitas, start by preheating your air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes, then add the oiled and seasoned pepitas. Cook them, stirring every 5 minutes, for about 7 to 10 minutes total (or until crisped).More - Check out the info before this recipe card for helpful tips, recipe variations and seasoning ideas, serving suggestions, and more!
