I'm putting the finishing touches on my holiday decorations this week. Everything has taken me longer than usual to put up, and in the process, my apartment has been glitter bombed. I'm sure you've been there!
Of course, there are a million other things going on at this busy time of year, too. So in between decorating, I've been running lots of errands.
I chose a casual holiday outfit to get me through a busy day.
The weather has been really nasty this week. There's a big storm passing through New York, and it's not cold enough to snow, so it's been dropping buckets of rain instead. Blech ... my least favorite kind of weather.
It's cozy inside though, especially wrapped up in a cabled sweater.
Remember way back in October when I attended Dooney & Bourke's Spring 2015 Preview? Here's an Instagram from the event to jog your memory.
At the event, I designed my own bag. I picked out everything from the fabric to the lining to the handles (and more), and it was such a fun experience. After lots of anticipation, my bag finally arrived a couple weeks ago!
Outfit Details: Sweater (Old Navy); Chambray Shirt (similar); Jeans (dENiZEN c/o People StyleHunters); Bag (c/o Dooney & Bourke); Shoes (similar); Bracelet (by boe)
I'm absolutely in love with my new bag! It's great for running errands, and the coated canvas is completely waterproof, so it's perfect for schlepping around in this crappy weather.
After lots of indecision, I went with oxblood panels on the front and back with navy on the sides. What do you think?
If you followed me around for a month, you'd find me in this outfit - or something similar - a lot. I'm a total jeans and sweater girl. Add a pair of booties, a great bag, and my favorite bracelet, and you have a very happy Ginnie!
What is your go to casual holiday outfit?
