I love creating special decorations for the holidays, but it takes time and can get expensive. That’s why I challenged myself to make something quick, easy, and inexpensive.
This Mini Silver and Gold Peace Wreath is the result!
If you are looking for an easy to make holiday decoration, this Mini Silver and Gold Peace Wreath is it! The small size is so cute, and it comes together fast. Plus, the supplies can be found at any craft store.
I first shared this Mini Silver and Gold Peace Wreath at The Pinning Mama last December. It turned out so well, that I ended up making two more! I love how the wreaths looked on my apartment door last year.
Not matter how you decorate this wreath, it’s sure to become a Christmas classic you look forward to pulling out year after year!
- wood letters
- gold craft paint
- small paint brush
- silver pony beads
- 8-inch grapevine wreath
- hot glue gun
- 1.5-inch silver ribbon
Start by painting the fronts and sides of the letters gold. Let the paint dry, then add another coat of paint, if needed.
Cut a piece of string about two feet long. Apply a little hot glue to the top of the “P”, then carefully press the string into the glue.
Add two pony beads to the string, the glue on the “E”. Add two more pony beads. Repeat this process with the remaining letters.
Don’t glue the letters too tightly together. The banner should have a little give.
Finally, finish the wreath by tying a bow on the bottom. Check out my present wrapping tips to learn how to tie the perfect bow.
