    Present Wrapping Tips

Are you a fan of wrapping gifts? I know a lot of people view it as a chore, but personally, I love it!

Part of the fun of wrapping a gorgeous gift is picking out the paper, ribbon, and other finishing touches, like these Chalkboard Labels.

Wrapping presents does take time, but one of my tricks is using the same paper, ribbon, and trimmings for every gift. Doing this really streamlines the whole gift wrapping process, and the presents will look gorgeous under your tree, too!

If you have lots of presents to wrap, you could also pick two or three coordinating papers ... maybe one for each kid or family. That way it will be easier to hand out presents on Christmas morning.

Tip: Need help with the present wrapping itself? Make sure to check out these two guides: How to Tie a Perfect Bow and How to Wrap Presents Like a Pro. Both tutorials have lots of photos, plus videos, to guide you step-by-step!

    How to Use the Labels

These free printable Holiday Chalkboard Gift Tags are really easy to use. Simply download the PDF (the link is at the end of this article) and print the file. For best results, print the labels on card stock,

Once you've printed the tags, use a sharp scissors to cut them out. Then add a hole for string or ribbon with a hole punch. It's that easy!

The backs of the tags are plain so you can add a name or personalized message.

I love how simple and festive these Holiday Gift Tags look with simple gold wrapping paper and twine, but they'd work with almost any paper.

I'm really into plaid this Christmas season, and I think plaid wrapping paper would be beautiful with these labels, too.

You could also use a brown craft paper for more rustic style or bright white paper. But whatever paper you choose, these free tags are the perfect finishing touch!
