Another Friday! Time goes by so quickly. It's hard to believe that February is already winding down. How did that happen?
We have been enjoying really warm (i.e. 40's) temps here in NYC this week, so I've been trying to spend extra time outside before all the snow melts. I captured lots of puddles in Central Park one day, and today I'm planning to walk down to Riverside Park. We may even get up early this Saturday to walk The High Line!
Anyway, here are a few of the links that caught my eye this week:
I'm sure the polar vortex will return at least one more time this winter, and when it does, I'll be making this Curried Chickpea Pot Pie from Amuse Your Bouche (is that not the best blog name ever?!?).
This DIY Painted Wood Block Nursery Art from Alice & Lois is bright, adorable, and looks simple to recreate.
Holly shows us how to Make Homemade Mineral Veil and save a few bucks at the same time.
I must have breakfast on my mind this week, because I've pinned recipes for Elevated Egg McMuffins, Egg and Avocado Tostadas, Perfectly Fluffy Pancakes, and Chocolate Croissants (totally legit breakfast food). Where to start?
This post On Changing Dreams from A Beautiful Mess really hit home for me.
Rambling Renovators' DIY Instagram Frame (made from contact paper) is genius! I need to replicate this ASAP.
Are you still trying to perfect the blowout? Then check out this great tutorial on How to Blow Dry Your Hair Like a Pro via A Cup of Jo.
This Pineapple Coconut Basil Smoothie from Little Miss Celebration has me dreaming of a tropical vacation.
Have you been watching The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon? This bit with Brian Williams rapping The Sugar Hill Gang's classic "Rapper's Delight" (video) had me seriously cracking up, especially when Lester Holt piped in (not to mention KLG)!
I'm quite envious of the amazing body in this DIY Fishtail Braid Ponytail from The Bride Link. Gorgeous!
Finally, Martha Stewart never disappoints. Case in point: her Grapefruit-White Wine Sparkler. Cheers to that!
How are your weekend plans shaping up?
P.S. Follow me on Pinterest to keep up with everything that catches my eye!
Thanks for the mention! Enjoy the weather temps while they visit! I get updates about what's going on from my mom everyday. She overlooks Riverside Park andI used to run along the river - just lovely!
Have a great weekend!
You're welcome, Chris! The weather was amazing today - it felt like spring. Hope you're having a great weekend, too:)

You're welcome, Sara!
The post on changing dreams hit home for me as well and reminded me of things I need to focus on. Love the snowy pictures.
Thanks, Anne:) I am still trying to figure out the dream part myself.
Thank you for the mention. I hope the DIY recipe helps some people out!
You're welcome, Holly! I'm definitely going to try it:)
