    Hello, Friday! Link Roundup

Hi, friends! Thanks for stopping by today! Are you counting down the minutes until the weekend begins?

The Unisphere - Flushing Meadows Corona Park | Hello Little Home

Last weekend, my husband and I spent an afternoon in Flushing (part of Queens), where there's a huge Chinatown. We got two huge plates of tasty dumplings - lamb for him, veggie for me - and paid less than $10. I couldn't even eat all of mine! It's nearly impossible to find a bargain like that in pricey NYC, so we have plans to go back for seconds soon.

While we were there, we headed to Flushing Meadows Corona Park (see pics below). The World's Fair was held there in 1939 and again in 1964. Most of the landmarks from the Fair are long gone, but a few remain. It's a huge park and a fun escape from Manhattan, especially when dumplings are involved!

I predict that this weekend will be much quieter. There will probably be a movie night and popcorn though. That always makes me happy!

On to my favorite links from the week:

Think you don't have time or money to decorate? Emily A. Clark has 3 Totally Easy Decorating Ideas that are quick and inexpensive.

These Apple Pie Biscuits from Joy the Baker look super delicious.

Add some fun to your fridge with these DIY Gold and Silver Alphabet Magnets from LiveLoveDIY.

This Chocolate Pudding from The Beauty Department has a surprise ingredient and is healthy enough to eat for breakfast.

Make these No Bake Lemon Fruit Tart from Minimalist Baker while fresh fruit is still in season.

This DIY Book Bin from Lay Baby Lay holds books in place using the cutest handpainted hearts.

Risotto is one of my favorite cool weather meals, so I can't wait to try this Garlic Butter Mushroom Risotto from Pinch of Yum.

Wear your photos! Lovely Indeed shows us how to make DIY Instagram Transfer T-Shirts and Onesies, and the result is really cute.

These personalized DIY No-Sew Floral Aprons from Sugar & Cloth would make a great gift.

I've been on a popsicle making kick lately (it's still hot here). These Grapefruit Popsicles from Paper & Stitch would be a great end of summer treat, plus they're super pretty.

These Cheesecake Brownie Bars from Roxana's Home Baking combine two of my favorites in one dessert. They look truly decadent!

Finally, toast fall with an Apple Cider Margarita (via Fabtastic Eats). Cheers to that!
