The weather here in New York finally feels like fall. In the past week, I drank my first cup of hot chocolate, wore my perfectly broken-in boots for the first time, and stopped wearing my sandals.

I'm a little sad about that last one, I'll admit, but fall really is my favorite season. I love the colorful leaves and the crisp, cool weather that's perfect for sweaters (also a fave of mine).

Fall always seems to pass by too quickly, so I'm trying to relish these beautiful days while they last. I also want to preserve a bit of the season, and a craft project is my favorite way to do that.
