Happy Friday! I've been looking forward to today all week, because my husband and I are heading to Philadelphia for the day.
A pretty view of the sun setting over the Central Park Reservoir.
Our out-of-town trips have been very limited since moving to New York (no car), and I've never been to Philly before, so I'm super psyched! I'll be sure to share pictures next week.
My other exciting plan for the weekend involves cleaning. Somehow, glitter seems to have worked it's way into every surface and onto human in my home. #CraftingHazard

Why not gather the family for a festive project this weekend? Henry Happened has a great roundup of 26 DIY Christmas Ornaments.
Fudge is one of my favorite seasonal treats, so I was intrigued when I saw this 4-Ingredient Healthy Fudge from A Cup of Jo. It's on my to-do list for next week.
I dragged my husband to the Julep Pop Up Shop last Friday, and it was nail polish heaven! If you're in New York (102 5th Ave. between 15th & 16th), be sure to check it out before it closes this Sunday.
Hi Sugarplum has a tutorial for a cute DIY Stocking Gift Card Holder. It can even be used as an ornament next year!
I love this idea: create a heart stencil using Made By Girl's super easy tutorial and top a cup of cappuccino or a mug of my hot chocolate with a heart-shaped sprinkle of chocolate.
Finally, this Boozy Orange White Chocolate Float from A Beautiful Mess looks like just the things to ring in the weekend. Cheers!
