Happy Friday! I've been looking forward to today all week, because my husband and I are heading to Philadelphia for the day.

Sunset over Central Park Reservoir | Hello Little Home

A pretty view of the sun setting over the Central Park Reservoir.

Our out-of-town trips have been very limited since moving to New York (no car), and I've never been to Philly before, so I'm super psyched! I'll be sure to share pictures next week.

My other exciting plan for the weekend involves cleaning. Somehow, glitter seems to have worked it's way into every surface and onto human in my home. #CraftingHazard

I found so many inspiring ideas this week. If only there were more time in the day to try them all! Here are a few of my favorites.

This DIY Origami Star Garland from Honey & Fitz would make a sweet decoration now or throughout the year.

Step up your makeup routine! Hair Romance has the best holiday makeup tutorials.

Put your scissors to work and decorate you holiday table with a Snowflake Table Runner ala You Are My Fave.

Snow and a Sunset in Central Park | Hello Little HomeCentral Park is so beautiful when it's covered in snow!

Take a non-holiday-related break and check out this Bold Blue Bedroom from I Suwannee. I'm in love!

The Christmas Cards are starting to pour in here at Hello Little Home, so Centsational Girl's  roundup of Favorite Christmas Card Displays is very timely. Which is your favorite?

What do you do with all those photo cards after the holidays are over? Adventures in Dressmaking has 2 Ideas for Saving Holiday Cards and Mementos. Here's how I save my cards:

How to Save Holiday Photo Cards | Hello Little Home

A few years ago, I started saving holiday photo cards by punching a hole in the corner of the cards and tying them together with some leftover ribbon. I store the cards with my Christmas decorations. It's fun to pull them out every year and see how much everyone has changed..

Finish up your shopping without hitting the mall! Check out my last minute gift idea that will keep on giving throughout the year.

Why not gather the family for a festive project this weekend? Henry Happened has a great roundup of 26 DIY Christmas Ornaments.

Fudge is one of my favorite seasonal treats, so I was intrigued when I saw this 4-Ingredient Healthy Fudge from A Cup of Jo. It's on my to-do list for next week.

Julep Pop Up Shop | Hello Little Home

I dragged my husband to the Julep Pop Up Shop last Friday, and it was nail polish heaven! If you're in New York (102 5th Ave. between 15th & 16th), be sure to check it out before it closes this Sunday.

Hi Sugarplum has a tutorial for a cute DIY Stocking Gift Card Holder. It can even be used as an ornament next year!

I love this idea: create a heart stencil using Made By Girl's super easy tutorial and top a cup of cappuccino or a mug of my hot chocolate with a heart-shaped sprinkle of chocolate.

Finally, this Boozy Orange White Chocolate Float from A Beautiful Mess looks like just the things to ring in the weekend. Cheers!

What are you up to this weekend?
