I have to confess that I've been caught up in all of the hoopla surrounding the birth of HRH George Alexander Louis.
Thankfully, he's finally arrived, and I can get back to more important things, like the Real Housewives (ha).
I couldn't resist indulging my royal obsession just a bit, and I had so much fun creating this nursery plan inspired by the newest royal! It's a mix of traditional and up-to-the-minute elements ... perfect for a modern prince.
Modern Boy's Nursery
For this nursery, I chose a serene blue and white color scheme. A traditional iron crib pairs well with modern bedding. The blue and white chevron rug adds a unique, modern touch to the nursery.
A comfortable glider is the perfect place to cuddle a fussy baby or read a book. The white dresser, bridges traditional and modern style, and the details add a sweet touch without being overly feminine.
I found this adorable, ceramic elephant table - which holds a swing-arm lamp for extra light - and it inspired a small theme. The elephant artwork is from Lemon Lime Paperie on Etsy, and it's affordable and cute. And what baby doesn't need some squishy stuffed animals? These super-soft stuffed elephants do the trick.
What about you ... have you been following the news of little George's birth, or could you care less?
