Black Bean Salsa Ingredients
This vibrant salsa is made with fresh, flavorful ingredients:
- Black Beans
- Corn (frozen is fine)
- Red Onion
- Fresh Lime Juice
A few notes about the ingredients: 1) Feel free to adjust the heat by adding more or less jalapeño. You could also experiment with other peppers … chipotles would work great. 2) If you’re not a fan of cilantro, you can either add less or cut it out all together (try adding flat leaf parsley instead). 3) Have an avocado you need to use up? Add it!
How to Make Black Bean and Corn Salsa
This Black Bean Salsa really is so quick and easy to prepare!
You’ll start by prepping the ingredients. Dice all the veggies up to a uniform size, chop the cilantro, and juice the lime.
This salsa has a little kick from the jalapeño, but it’s not super spicy. You can easily adjust the heat-level though, by removing the seeds and membranes from the jalapeño or by adding less.
Of course, spicy food lovers will want to crank up the heat by adding more jalapeño … it’s really up to you!
Once you’ve prepped everything, simply add it all to a big bowl and gently stir together.
The last step is seasoning the salsa to taste with salt, which really helps bring out all the delicious flavors.
Once your Black Bean and Corn Salsa is ready, pair it with RITZ® Toasted Pita Crackers and Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola®.
You are now ready for the Big Tournament!
