    Ginnie's Take

Are you excited that football season is finally here? I know I am! I have to admit that my favorite thing about game day is spending time with family and friends. Throwing a watching party is one of my favorite ways to get everyone together at this time of year, so I'm super excited to share my free football themed party printables with you. They're the perfect addition to game day!

    About the Free Printables

I'm sharing free printable PDFs for all these football party decorations: three banners options, bottle wraps, four festive pennants, mini football toppers, and cards for labeling your food. How to Assemble the Pennants + Football Toppers

    You'll need the following supplies:

    • Transparent Tape - To hold everything together.
    • Toothpicks - To attach to the food toppers.
    • Thin Dowels ( or Skewers) - To assemble the pennants.

To Assemble: Cut out the pennants and toppers, then use the tape to attach the toothpicks to the back of toppers and the skewers to the back of the pennants.

PRO TIP: Use a couple layers of tape on the pennants to make sure they are securely attached.

How cute are these mini football toppers? Use them to add a festive touch to cupcakes or other desserts and bite sized treats.

The pennants just might be my favorite element of these free football themed party printables! Wave them around to cheer on your team, or use them in a DIY football themed photo booth!

How to Assemble the Bottle Wraps

    You'll need the following supplies:

    • Double Sided Table - For attaching the wraps.

To Assemble: Start by cutting out the wraps. Use one piece of tape to attach the wrap to directly the bottle. Wrap the paper around the bottle, then use another piece of tape on the wrap's end to secure the label (see image below).

PRO TIP: The labels can be shortened if you are using smaller bottles. Just make sure to leave enough length to overlap the ends of the wrap.

The football lingo on the wraps will be such a fun touch for your party!

How to Assemble the Table Labels

To Assemble: Simply cut out the labels, then fold them in half. Use a Sharpie (or another marker) write your message.

    How to Assemble the Banners

    You'll need the following supplies:

    • Hole Punch - To make holes for the string.
    • Twine - For stringing the flags together.
    • Command Hooks - Or something else to adhere the banner to your wall (tape, nails, etc.).

To Assemble: Begin by cutting out the flags. Then punch a hole in the top two corners of each flag. Cut a piece of twine that's long enough for the whole banner (leave extra on either end for hanging). Run the twine through one hole (from the front of the flag), then pull the twine along the back of the flag and up through the other hole (from the back of the flag). Repeat with the remaining flags, then hang the banner on your wall using tape or another method.

Variations: For my party, I used the Game Day banner. I wanted to give you lots of options though, so I also included PDFs for Touchdown and Snack Bar banners, as well as blank flags for you to add your own message (use letter stickers).

PRO TIP: You can make the banner longer by adding extra blank flags on either end.

    Setting Up Your Snack Table

These free football themed party printables are the perfect way to give your game day table a cohesive and fun look! And they're perfect if you're looking for football themed birthday party ideas.

Once you've assembled the football decorations, it's time to set up your table. Choose a blank wall, then hang your banner. Place a tablecloth on your table (these football themed tablecloths would be so cute!), then arrange all your snacks and drinks. Add the toppers to your food, and you are done!
