I have so many wonderful Thanksgiving memories. When I was a child growing up in Wisconsin, our family always drove to to Milwaukee to spend the day with my dad's side of the family.
As I got older and moved away from home, my Thanksgivings changed. Some years, we travel and spend the day with family, and other years, we gather with friends. Often, it's just my husband and I, but however we spend it, I always look forward to this special day!
Thanksgiving is a wonderful day to take a moment to reflect on everything I'm thankful for ... and maybe eat my weight in pie and mashed potatoes!
This year my turkey day theme is "Be Thankful," and these free Thanksgiving printables are the perfect way to pull together your holiday table!
Free Printable Thanksgiving Decorations
I had so much fun pulling my "Be Thankful" theme together, and these free printables for Thanksgiving could not have turned out cuter!
You'll find everything here from an adorable mini bunting to food toppers, drink / straw flags, place cards, and more.
The best part is, all you have to do is print these free Thanksgiving decorations out, do a little cutting and folding, and you're done. It couldn't be easier!
How to Use the Printables
To get started, you'll need to download the free printables (find them at the end of the post), then print them on cardstock paper. Then you can start assembling the different elements:
Be Thankful Flags
I used the Be Thankful flags to top by Spicy Pumpkin Steamers ... they look so festive and fun! This creamy drink is a fall favorite and would make the perfect addition to any Thanksgiving party!
To assemble the flags, cut them out, then cover the plain side of the flags with permanent double-side tape. Fold the flags in half, wrapping them around a popsicle stick (that's what I used), swizzle stick, or paper straw. Press the plain sides together to seal.
I'm Thankful Cards
The "I'm thankful for ... " cards can be passed around to get the conversation going, or you can use them as Thanksgiving place cards (use a place card holder or set them on the plate).
Simply cut out the cards just inside the black lines. Make sure to hand out gold or silver makers so your guest can share what they are thankful for.
Be Thankful Tags
Want to hand out a snack or send your guests home with something sweet? These "Be Thankful" tags fit 3 x 4-inch treat bags perfectly. Just cut the tags out, fold them in half, and staple them over the top of your bags.
I filled mine with dried apple rings and roasted almonds. You could also place these tags at each place setting in lieu of a place card.
Mini Bunting
I absolutely adore this mini bunting! Use it to adorn a chalkboard, like I did, or a picture frame. You could also place it in the center of your table, hang it on a wreath, or even drape one on each chair at the table. The possibilities are endless!
The assemble the bunting, simply cut out the flags, then attach them to a piece of twine with tape.
Mini Leaf Toppers
The mini leaf toppers are so cute and can be used to top everything from appetizers to desserts. I used the toppers on my favorite Black Bottom Cupcakes. This is one of those recipes that I have to bake every year during the holidays ... at least once! They are sooo good.
To assemble the toppers, cut out two circles with a scissors or circle punch and add a little permanent double-side tape to the plain sides. Then, stick a toothpick in the middle and press them together.
These free Thanksgiving Printables will make it so easy to pull together your holiday table, leaving everything looking coordinated and cute! You can use them for a Friendsgiving celebration, too.
